My name is Casey Giovinco. I’m a nonprofit development professional with a background in storytelling, strategy, and relationship-building. I work at the intersection of fundraising, relationships, and narrative to help organizations grow sustainable support and deepen trust with the communities they serve.
Nonprofits don’t just need funding. They need meaningful connections. They need development strategies that are ethical, human-centered, and grounded in the realities of organizational life.
I hold a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with focused training in resource development, marketing, governance fundamentals, and organizational sustainability. This training informs my hands-on work in fundraising communications, grant writing, donor engagement, and prospect research.

My work bridges strategy and story. I translate mission into language that moves people to act—whether that’s a donor, a foundation, a board member, or a broader community. I’m particularly well-suited to small to midsized nonprofits seeking a development professional who understands that fundraising is not just transactional—it’s relational, narrative, and strategic all at once.

-
I begin by listening carefully to all stakeholders involved so that my work reflects what actually matters.
-
I bring calm focus to complex or high-stakes situations, helping teams move forward with clarity and confidence.
-
I value honesty, consistency, and follow-through; trust is built through reliability, not performance.
-
I approach fundraising as stewardship, honoring donors as partners rather than targets.
-
I adapt to the organization in front of me, working within its culture, capacity, and rhythms.
-
I aim to make collaboration feel steady, thoughtful, and aligned—so others can do their best work.
